Q: Where should I start when looking at this website?
A: A good place to start is to briefly review all three packages under the “Our Services” tab (The Courage Package, The Perseverance Package and The Good2 Package). Then you can book your 20-min free consultation so that we can answer questions specific to your project, or fill out the “contact us” form and communicate that way. There’s a lot of material here. You don’t have to look at everything, but we would encourage you to explore the website further after our consultation. You might find something you hadn’t thought of and you may find it useful for your project.
Q: How much do your services cost?
A: Under the “Our Services” tab are three packages for you to choose from. The Packages are designed to match your budget and each package has a range for you to determine the best package for your budget. The Courage Package, our lowest range, The Perseverance Package is mid-range and The Good2 Package the highest range.
Each package has a list of items for you to ‘opt in’ or ‘opt out’ of. This will then determine your final cost. It is often the case that this is determined in the first free initial 20-minute consultation. If not, we can schedule either a private consultation* or an in-person consultation meeting with a Q&A with your staff, Board of Directors or others you would like to invite others to participate in the discussion at your office.
This helps you to determine your budget as well as your design. Each of the packages starts low and goes up incrementally. The Courage Package [averages/ranges] between $10,000-$50,000; The Perseverance Package [averages/ranges] between $50,000-$150,000 and The Good Manners2 Package between $150,000-$350,000. (?) ** Each package price depends upon a number of factors all of which we discuss in the initial 20-minute free consultation. If you would like to discuss your project further, we provide in-person or zoom calls to discuss your project in depth.
(include these cost ranges – or suggest they “submit form and we’ll send you ….? [forms: Tell me more about: 1) the 3 packages costs 2) the Extra’s 3)etc
[Prices range between $XX-$XX] [See “The Program” to learn how we can help you fund your project]
* See “Private Consultations” for details on scheduling a private meeting.
Q: Our organization would love a documentary but we don’t have a large budget. Do you assist in helping raise funds for our documentary?
A: One of the many options included in The Good2 Package is called “The Pay it Forward Program”.
The Good2 Package includes an option/element for support from REELGOOD2 in raising funds for your documentary.
Q: What is the “Pay it Forward Program” and where can I learn more about it?
A: The Pay it Forward Program is a way for REELGOOD2 to assist your organization in funding your project. It is exclusively for those organizations who have contracted us for “The Good2 Package”. You will see a brief description of it in The Good2 Package. It is discussed in more depth during the in-person consultation.
Q: We just have a small video we would like filmed, don’t we just need to hire a cameraperson?
A: All services in our packages projects big or small include at minimum a cameraperson, a grip and a producer, as well as an editor to edit what was filmed. We do this for a reason. Asking a single person to manage all the tasks is certainly possible, but if the cameraperson is doing one thing, then he’s not doing another task.
Q: Do I need a Producer-Director if I’m just having a conference or special event filmed?
My budget is small, so can I eliminate the Producer or Director and just hire a cameraman?
A: Producers are only needed if you or your organization plans or is currently evolving in any way.
If, for example, you are having a 1-day ribbon cutting gathering and you want it captured on film, that means something happened or you hope something will happen from the event.
Whether it is a 1-day film shoot or a 1-year film project, producing an event and filming an event are two different jobs. When the cameraman is looking through his or her lens, Producers role is to identify other ways to articulate, enhance or improve your project and direct the cameraperson to that as well as general support and assistance to the cameraman and the people at your organization.
If you have a new space to show-off or a new program, research findings, a new initiative, a special event. If you’re comfortable asking your cameraman to split his focus and manage all jobs, then hiring just a cameraman though not ideal, is an option for you if your budget is very small.
The option for what is our smallest package is The Courage Package which at the lowest level, includes a cameraman as well as an editor, tech support and an associate to manage the process.
All said, if you decide to just film your event, perhaps to get footage to post on your website, such as a new space that has been renovated to show-off or a ribbon-cutting ceremony or a staff Christmas party, we would bring our exceptional film crew to cover the event for you.
Q: What does a Producer-Director do?
A: The Producers role is malleable. Ideally, they are able to step into any role and manage it. For example, a professional cameraperson is highly skilled at his or her job. If they want or need to turn their attention to capturing the best possible shot, then the Producer is skilled enough to step in and manage the other camera.
The Producer is able to perform all roles at a professional level, though is not typically as experienced as the professional, for instance, a cameraperson or audio engineer, who has devoted years exclusively to this particular skill. Producers also manage, organize and design – all the work that you don’t see – that happens before and after your film shoot.
Q: I just want a video for my organization. Do I need to review all three packages under the “Our Services” tab?
A: The Courage Package, The Perseverance Package and The Good2 Package are all intended to spark creativity for your project, regardless of the size of the project. So, even in just a 1-day filming of your gathering, there lies potential for reaching multiple viewing audiences for multiple purposes. You may find that reviewing the three packages will spark your creativity and inspire you to aim for more with your filmed event. If you would like to discuss this, then reviewing the packages is the best direction to take. Otherwise, you need not review the packages and we are capable of filming your event with whatever you had in mind.
Q: Are my video needs too small a project for any of the three packages you have under the “Our Services” tab?
A: Your project is only as big or small as your imagination and perception. So, be it a 1-day special event filmed to put the video on your website, or large research project filmed and edited to be shared with hundreds or even thousands of people, what counts is intention. Asking yourself first why you want to share it with others is a good place to start. Your answer can be as simple as to generate interest, support or for grants for your organization, or a more complex answer such as because you intend your work to be shared with a more sophisticated viewing audience where you will be presenting your work along with your documentary or video. Our imagination is great. We see the potential in even the simplest of video projects. Our aim is to produce a video where you see that potential, too.
Q: I’ve reviewed the three packages (Courage Package, Perseverance Package, Good2 Package) but I’m not sure where my organization fits best. Can you advise?
A: Absolutely. Aside from gathering general information about your video or documentary needs, this is what the initial free 20-minute consultation is about. Since you have reviewed the three packages before our consultation, you will likely have questions that we will address during your consultation. Afterwards, regardless of the package you choose, we advise throughout the process of developing your documentary or video. In addition, we offer more formal advise and consultation meetings with you alone and/or with others in your organization.
You’ll know if you need more time after our 20-minute consultation. It is advisable to first review all three of the design packages (The Courage Package, The Perseverance Package, and The Good2 Package) before your 20-minute consultation.
Q: What are the three design packages you offer?
The three package designs, “The Courage Package”, “The Perseverance Package” and “The Good2 Package” are all based on work we have developed with other clients.
We designed these packages based on years of producing promotional documentary films and videos for organizations. During this time, we have come to recognize trends and get a good sense of what our new and repeat clients are looking for in a film production company. You are the beneficiary of the time and effort put into working with projects in the past; now outlined in each of the three packages for you.
Each of the three packages are designed around the wants, needs, desires – and budgets of our past clients. Each contain elements we have done for various clients. We have consolidated their needs into the three packages that were designed specifically for you to match your own project to and to lessen the time you may be devoting to your project as you consider how best to move forward with your concept, program or initiative.
The packages are intended to introduce some concepts you may not have considered to help you determine what you would like us to produce for you and to inspire you with concepts you may not have considered.
Reviewing the packages may save you time and energy later, so that you can devote your time to getting your own promotional documentary or video project up and running smoothly without interruption.
Ultimately, the three packages are for you to use as a guide and to give you a better sense of what we do and how we distinguish ourselves from others and to lessen the time you spend deciding on the best approach for your own promotional documentary or video.
The Courage Package, The Perseverance Package and The Good2 Package are guides to help you clarify what you believe will be the best approach working with us and for you to explore some options you may not have considered.
Q: Do I have to choose from one of the three design packages you offer?
A: The “Our Services” tab has three drop down menus featuring three “packages” for you to choose from. The Courage Package, The Perseverance Package and our signature design, The Good2 Package. You do not need to choose one of the three package designs, however, you will likely benefit from reviewing each package as it may help solidify your thoughts on how best to approach your own project.

Q: How do I book my free initial consultation?
A: See the “contact us” form (?) See our calendar and you can choose an available date and time.
Q: How do I book a private consultation meeting with drone footage at my office?
A: Fill out the “Contact Us” form and we’ll get back to you with details and a list of available dates. Alternatively, see our “Calendar” for available dates and book a date yourself based on availability.
Q: What if I feel I need more time after our initial 20-minute consultation?
A: Generally, you will get all your answers during the initial free 20-minute consultation and will not feel the need to reserve an in-person consultation meeting.
The in-person consultation is generally useful if your decisions involve other staff, board members, committee members or others who want to hear more. The Courage Package typically has all questions answered during the initial free 20-minute consultation. The Perseverance Package and The Good2 Package are generally the packages where Q&A’s with staff or others are the most beneficial.
If you feel you would like more time for Q&A’s, you may book a private consultation at Reel Good2 Studio or you may want to include your staff, Board of Directors or other interested parties for a consultation at your office where you and your group will have an opportunity for a more lengthy and in-depth Q&A.
You’ll know if you need more time after our 20-minute consultation. It is advisable to first review all three of the design packages (The Courage Package, The Perseverance Package, and The Good2 Package) before your 20-minute consultation.
Q: How much of [my time] will it take to produce a documentary about our organization?
A: Your promotional, educational or legacy documentary and/or videos are custom-made. We take the time first to learn about your needs and expectations as well as your schedule and availability, then your project is designed with a timeline that works for you that includes an action plan, deliverables and budget for your specific project. This is determined in the first week.
On average, 5 full days to film at your organization and 5 meetings are standard. The timeline and action plan is designed around your plans, your schedule and you may have a special event planned where you plan on showing the finished work. If so, we work to ensure your product is completed for your event. Also, we don’t need everyone to be present as the process unfolds. It may very well be that we see an individual 1-2 times over a 6-month period. This is all part of the process that is typically done in the first week of planning. Can we do more than the original design? Always. We welcome a discussion about expanding your documentary at any of our meetings.
Q: If we have a documentary produced by REELGOOD2, where will it be shown?
A: We all live in an amazing time of communication [outlets]. In the past, PBS was one of a handful of outlets to find quality programming and it still is, but now there is Netflix, streaming services, film festivals where awards for extraordinary works are awarded, public and private screenings are available and so much more.
Your promotional documentary will be shown on multiple social media platforms to gain visibility as well as at our “Happening2” screening. It will also be submitted for awards and film festivals all of which we discuss during Q&A sessions.
Q: Where can I learn more about the Extras: “Private Consultations”, “Speaking Engagements” and “The After Party”?
A: “Extras” are both stand-alone items and are also included in each of the options provided in the three packages (The Courage Package, The Perseverance Package and The Good2 Package). Fill out the form and we’ll send you a 1-page tear sheet with an overview. If you would like to hear more, you may schedule a free 20-minute conference call on our calendar where we will conduct a phone or zoom call with you to answer more questions.
Fill out the form requesting information about the Extras and we’ll send you the details.* [add in stuff about “Extras”. Maybe put the blurbs in the static page of “our services”. Don’t want it as a drop-down. Can also include some of this stuff in Happening2 and other areas – the static pages there.
*local/out-of-town rates + hotel, travel expenses

Q: Could you summarize everything so I don’t have to read everything on your website?
A: The REELGOOD2 moving pictures ©® is a new model [of producing and delivering exceptional film and video content, promoting the work and showcasing it all to deliver an experience for you and your organization unmatched by other video production companies] conceptualized and developed by Bonnie Jean DeRosa based on her experiences producing promotional videos to promote and elevate an organization. Our focus has been predominantly non-profit organizations…. in nearly every aspect of creating film, video, sharing it with others based on years of experience. It was developed precisely to fill a need from a combination of all the clients we have previously worked with. Approximately 90% of our clients are repeat clients. What they have in common is that they wanted a way to show how they walked through the world.[by showing their special programs or initiatives, research findings, legacies and celebrations] …. [here] or, contact us if you have additional questions. The free 20-minute consultation is open to anyone, so you can schedule a time and we can answer your specific questions. Also, what our clients didn’t ask for but sensing they were looking for more: authenticity…
Q: Could you go on at great length using analogies and stories?
This is not a frequently asked question. In fact, no one has ever asked it. But we’re storytellers. We like stories, parables, songs. Anything that brings depth, dimension, and perspective. That’s why we do what we do at Good2. If you want to hear more at great length with analogies and stories, follow us on our blog, subscribe to the newsletter. You can jump in anywhere.
Every one of us who work on your project love to talk about what we know, what we did, how we did it better this time with your project and how what we did contributed to your projects success. We can’t help it. We’re not for everybody. But you may enjoy visiting the blog and newsletter to see and hear what we’re working on, what we’re thinking about, and get a glimpse into how we walk through the world.
Q: What is “the new model of persuasion”? Does this mean you do marketing?
A: It’s all about your perception. Marketing, from our perception, has a negative connotation and it’s earned that reputation using tricks to make you buy. Marketing is to trick you into buying whereas persuasion is to let you think and feel and reflect and decide for yourself if something is for you or not. Are we selling something? Yes, of course and we hope you’ll buy it but we know tricks are usually revealed and that leaves a bad taste in your mouth if you feel you were fooled. Besides, we’re not marketers, we’re persuaded. We rather have you come to us on your own after mulling it over. Marketing says look at me. Persuasion says remember me.
We like you to think. So, think about it. Good art /the center of art is motive for the viewer to a number of things such as (list 3 things) including persuading. Your project begins with you before we’re even considered. You’re the artist and you have begun to think how to represent your work. That’s what good artists do. Lucky for you, we’re good 2 and we’re glad you found us. We’re ready to make something with you.
