“It’s when the organization has begun to have an exchange of thoughts and ideas within their walls and a ‘buzz’ has bubbled up that defines who they are in a different way than previously thought. It is when they look at their own reflections and see themselves differently – who they were, who they are now, and where they see themselves going in the future. Then they’re ready to seek out the makers to reflect their new faces out to the world.
This is where we come in.

The belief in communication as an art form is something Bonnie Jean DeRosa holds both professionally and personally. “For me, communication through the visual arts is a practice of shifting from one perspective to another, for me, it’s an opportunity to evaluate where I’ve come from, how my work has evolved, and outside of myself, pulling in what is happening in our time, our culture, our new landscape, all into the work we produce for our clients.
“For me, the medium doesn’t matter, DeRosa says, “it is the process itself to credit for the finished art, film, drama, that informs, serves a purpose, and has an impact and that’s what we want for our clients’ projects – to create an impact and to be memorable.” Working alongside our clients, and practicing the art of filmmaking makes me feel I am contributing, and participating, and together, we are a part of something bigger than ourselves, which is both reassuring and exhilarating at the same time. Our time, perhaps more than ever before, challenges us to create the best possible work we can as 
we enter what I believe to be the “Age of Authenticity”.
A recognized producer-director of educational and promotional films for the Department of Veterans Affairs, DeRosa’s work has been shown at VA sites nationwide including their annual Stand Down events and community care centers. Promotional films and media campaigns produced for other non-profit organizations have assisted in winning them grants and support from their community.
Ms. DeRosa appears as one of the cover stories for the SAMSHA Reintegration Today magazine. She has been a guest speaker at a Legislative Breakfast at The State House in Boston, and a speaker at several non-profit organizations, as well as a speaker and moderator for discussion groups in the Greater Boston area.
As a guest speaker on the Boston radio station WUMB in Boston, Ms. DeRosa was invited to discuss film and its’ impact in todays society. Perhaps one of her clients put it best when he said, “She can make grass-growing inspirational!”

Ms. DeRosa graduated from The University of Massachusetts, Boston with a degree in the arts. She first worked for and later served on the Board of Directors for NAMI-MASS (National Alliance for the Mentally Ill of Massachusetts) and prior to that, at AHRC (The Association for the Help of Retarded Children) in New York City.
Born and raised in New England, Ms. DeRosa spent more than a decade of her formative years in New York City where she worked honing and developing her skills as an artist. Her employment ranged from Condé Nast Publications at magazines such as Vogue, House and Garden, and Glamour Magazine, to working at organizations whose focus was on contributing to the betterment of others at The Association for the Help of Retarded Children. Always guided by the principles and teachings of her parents to who demonstrated and emphasized community contribution, participation and a giving heart.
DeRosa’s work is shown at The Department of Veterans Affairs organizations nationwide and the VA’s annual stand-down events and community care centers. With the supporting film and video work produced by Good2 Pictures, nonprofit organizations have won grants and awards with which to continue their efforts. Perhaps one of DeRosa’s clients put it best when he said, “Bonnie Jean DeRosa can make grass-growing inspirational”!
